I was perusing the links that Michael posted the other day, and one of them lead to a YouTube channel hosted by MEMAG (http://www.memag.net/.... They definitely had some cool videos with plenty of Ringen, Longsword, and other weapons, but upon checking out there website thoroughly, I found NOTHING mentioning ARMA or being connected to it, even in the links section.

I found this pretty odd, because it seems like you can't NOT be exposed to ARMA when you start looking up any sort of Medieval fighting systems online. Does anyone know the history of this place (aside from the obvious "About Us" section on their site)? It doesn't specifically say that it charges for classes, but it doesn't say it's Non-Profit, either. It seems like a very structured, thorough program, but they also seem to dress up and stuff.

Anyway, just curious if they were like, AWOL ARMA members who decided to start a rival school or something.

I believe they are a school in the Midwest that has opened up some what recently. I wouldn't be surprised if they have at least some ex-ARMA members considering the whole thing that happened between Mr. Clements and some of those other members who left a little while back.

Interesting...

What happened between Mr. Clements and some of the other members? Typical drama about "what direction ARMA should go" type of thing?

Here's a group that some people may be interested in: http://www.aemma.org/... . This org apparently started in Canada and is based on the works of Fiore. The site looks to have some good reference material, etc.
