What keeps you from coming to a fencing meetup?

There are over 100 people in this meetup. I've never had a meetup where there was no one to fence, but only a handful 4%-10% show up at a time. What keeps YOU from attending? "-" means this explanation doesn't apply to me, "10" this is exactly the reason I don't go.

The cost. It's way too expensive

It's not at a good time. I'm always busy when you have meetups.

I don't like the place. It's hard to get to, or not condusive to a good meetup.

I intend to go but then I forget.

I'm intimidated. You guys are probably too experienced for me. I won't fit in.

I'm afraid there will be no body there to fence the weapon I fence.

I don't trust any meetup where the organizer doesn't post his picture.
